Soft > Hard
Spring Observations.
A mind that is stretched by new experience can never go back to its old dimensions
A reminder I give myself often it to discern how to push myself, without breaking myself- Hard materials tend to be brittle, tough materials tend to be soft.
Watch water wear down stone, feel how much you can bend rubber- where a piece of wood would snap, the rubber bounces right back.
The more flexible we become while holding true to our vision the greater our resilience, and our capacity to face adversity becomes.
Can we allow ourselves be shaped like water, like rubber? Embracing our immaterial softness, our tender compassion, to lovingly learn from the circumstances we face and bounce back stronger?Source Unknown
